We promise never to sell or rent any of your personal information without your prior permission.  Your trust and confidence are our highest priority.  For questions or concerns regarding our Privacy Policy, please contact us.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

When you register for a Wise promotion, we may ask for your email address, date of birth, zip code, gender, and, in certain cases, other information requested by the promotion sponsor.  Occasionally, Wise and its promotional sponsor(s) conduct user surveys.  All information provided by users in such user surveys is completely optional.  For all Wise visitors - not just registered users - we may collect IP addresses, browser type, access times, duration of visit, referring URL, platform, new/repeat information, time-stamp and exit page information.  This data is gathered for statistical purposes so that we may analyze trends and performance over time.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

The data we gather is used to create and enhance your customized user profile and keep you up-to-date on new promotional offers and incentives from our promotion sponsor(s).

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS PROTECTED

Wise maintains practices and procedures that are designed to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of customer information.  When you provide information to Wise, you are doing so in a safe and secure environment. Information entered into our server is entered through Secure Sockets Layers (SSL), which create a protected connection between users and our web server.  Current internet security methods and technologies are used to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information.  These safeguards are expressly implemented for the purpose of protecting your information.

WITH WHOM YOUR INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED

All information and data collected through this website or by our customer affairs department is owned by Wise. We NEVER share any personally identifiable information about specific individuals with any third party.  Wise may be required by law to disclose certain information.  Wise may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Wise's interests (e.g., customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others.  When our customers contact us to compliment or comment upon our products, we reserve the right to share these comments on our website and other promotional materials, and to disclose the individual's first name and city/state of residence (where provided to us), but we will not disclose the individual's full identity (last name, mailing address, or contact information) in doing so.

EMAIL COMMUNICATION YOU CHOOSE TO RECEIVE FROM US

If you opt-in to receive communications from us or our partners, you will be kept informed about special promotions and incentives from the promotion sponsor(s).  With the exception of emails confirming registration and any winner notification, Wise will not send you any emails unless you elect to receive communications from us. If you are no longer interested in receiving communications from Wise, please contact the Wise Consumer Affairs Dept.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY POLICY

This children's privacy policy explains Wise's practices with respect to the online collection and use of personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13), and provides important information regarding their rights under federal law with respect to such information.  We may collect online certain personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13) for participation in sweepstakes, promotions or other ongoing programs. In such instances, we do not ask or require children to disclose more personally identifiable information than is necessary.  Wise shall use reasonable efforts to obtain verifiable parental consent before collection of such information from a child.  The method of parental consent will vary, depending upon the specific promotion or program. Additional consent mechanisms may be used in the future.  Parents or guardians whose children have provided information to Wise may review the information provided by their child by contacting us.  For verification and security purposes, Wise may request that such parental requests must contain the parent's or guardian's name as well as a valid e-mail address, a street address, or a phone number.  Parents or guardians may also request that Wise delete their child's information. If such a parental request is received, Wise will make all reasonable efforts to delete the information from its files.

COOKIES

A cookie is a unique identifier sent to your computer by a Web server and stored on your hard drive.  This authenticated tag lets a server identify you.  At Wise, we only use cookies to maintain your session when you are logged into a Wise-powered promotion.  In addition we may use cookies to prevent participation by people under age 13, and in some cases under age 18.  No other Personally Identifiable Information is stored on these cookies.  The cookie assigns you with a session identification number so our system knows you are logged onto the Wise server.  The session identification number is the only piece of information stored in and used by Wise.  Wise currently does not store personal information in the cookie.

SWEEPSTAKES

Wise may occasionally offer site visitors an opportunity to participate in a survey, contest or sweepstakes.  Information collected by Wise for such a survey, contest or sweepstakes will be subject to the same protection as the information Wise collects from its users generally.  The first name, city and state of residence for sweepstakes winners will be available to participants of a given program via write-in request and in some cases via the promotion website.

MERGERS/ACQUISITIONS

In the event that Wise or substantially all of Wise's assets are acquired by a third party, customer information may be transferred to Wise's successor company.  In the event such a transfer occurs, the transferred information will be subject to the same protection as it was prior to the transfer.
