Our wish for you

December 19, 2013
We want to take this chance to thank you for sharing your year with us.
We're one year older and wiser and we've learned a few things along the way.
  1. Nothing we share is more important than who we share it with.
  2. Kindness can change hearts.
  3. We feel better after we laugh. Every time.
  4. We are blessed to live in this country.
  5. Don't make excuses. You'll feel better when you keep your promises and commitments.
  6. Learn how to say no. And mean it. You'll be making room for a yes that's better and more meaningful.
  7. You can make a difference in someone's life.
  8. When in doubt, act the way you'd tell your kids to act. It's no secret that while we're charged with the important job of making them into good little people, they're doing the same for us.
  9. Don't worry so much.
  10. Do something without asking for credit or recognition. See how it feels.
  11. Floss. Don't learn the hard way.
  12. You don't have to be a scrapbooker to document your memories. Keep a notebook handy and jot down experiences, one-liners or ideas as they come to you. Tuck pictures or mementos inside. Use your Notes feature on your phone to do the same.
  13. Quit multi-tasking. You're not fooling anyone.
  14. Remember to be grateful.
  15. There is always something to look forward to. Find yours.
